Interior Design Courses

The Interior Design program at CCBC is a part of the Art, Design and Interactive Media department (ADiM) in the School of Applied and Informational Technology (SAIT).

Three Art and Design (ARTD) courses are required for both the Associates (AAS) degree and the Interior Design Certificate.  Completion of the ARTD foundation courses prior to taking interior design (INTD) courses is neither required or recommended.  Additional required coursework is also offered through the Computer Aided Design (CADD) program.  See the Paths to Graduation tab for the recommended order of courses.  For individual course and program descriptions visit: http://www.ccbcmd.edu/Programs-and-Courses/Degrees-and-Certificates/Catalog.aspx

Additional INTD and CADD electives both enhance a student’s interior design education and may fulfill the additional 18 credits of educational requirements to qualify for the NCIDQ examination.  Consider completing a CAD Architecture Certificate along with your interior design degree: (15 Cr) CADD 101, 103, 202, 151 & CONT 101.
